Announcing New Project Themes!
The GlobalGiving team is excited to announce a new list of themes—inspired by both the Sustainable Development Goals and the breadth and depth of your work—to categorize your projects on the website. Over the years, many project leaders have shared feedback about themes they felt were missing, and we’re hopeful that this list of themes will be more inclusive and representative of our diverse community of nonprofits!

Each project can have one Primary Theme and up to four Secondary Themes, which you can select while editing your project or creating a new one.
When making the transition to the new list, we used our best estimate at which themes would be best for your projects. Please take a few minutes to review the themes of each of your projects and edit as you see fit. You can do this by editing each of your projects individually.
